First Winter Ride BACHLEDKA
First Winter Ride BACHLEDKA is the event with which the year-round mountain resort BACHLEDKA officially opens the winter ski season. This day is the perfect combination of active sport, family enjoyment, great music and a magical winter atmosphere right on the snow-covered ridge of Spišská Magura.
The event is designed to offer something for professional and recreational skiers, families with children and groups of friends looking for quality après-ski entertainment.
What makes First Winter Ride BACHLEDKA special?
- Sport and timed training sessions: The winter season opens with sport! An essential part of the day includes the first official turns and timed training sessions on professional courses at the National Training Centre for Pupils - Malá Franková. These races provide fair conditions and motivation for pupil and junior categories as well as young skiing talents.
- Illumination of Winter Wonderland BACHLEDKA: As evening approaches, the sporting atmosphere transforms into a fairytale setting. The traditional highlight of the programme is the ceremonial illumination of the iconic Treetop Walk, which is transformed by thousands of lights into a magical winter landscape with unforgettable views of the Belianske Tatras.
- Music, parties and après-ski: The celebration of the start of winter calls for a proper dose of energy. The slopes and the barrier-free PANORAMA Restaurant regularly come alive with musical performances, concerts by well-known artists, themed parties with DJs and an entertaining programme hosted by presenters.
- Presentation of seasonal new features: First Winter Ride is the moment when the resort fully presents its improvements for the upcoming winter to visitors.
