30th Goral Folk Festival in Bachledka: IMT Smile, KALI, Štefan Štec, Miro Jaroš and FS Zemplín beneath the Tatras

In the picturesque village of Ždiar, the traditions of the Gorals minority will come to life once again. This celebration of all Gorals will bring a diverse programme featuring well-known personalities as well as local Gorals artists directly in the BACHLEDKA resort.

Visitors can look forward to meeting Gorals, local craftsmen and folklore ensembles from three sides of the Tatras, who will present their culture, history and traditional crafts. The unique atmosphere of the event will be complemented by an attractive music programme full of familiar names.

At Bachledka, at an altitude of almost 1,200 metres above sea level, IMT Smile, KALI, Štefan Štec, Miro Jaroš and FS Zemplín will perform as guests of this grand celebration of Gorals culture.

30TH ANNUAL CELEBRATION OF GORAL CULTURE AND MINORITY

At the beginning of August, Bachledka will become a meeting place for Gorals, who will gather from 7 to 9 August to celebrate their holiday together. The 30th edition of the Gorals Folklore Festival will take place once again, traditionally held at the entrance to the Treetop Walk.

The event will delight all admirers of unique Slovak culture and traditions. The organisers will prepare demonstrations of Gorals crafts, and local farmers with domestic animals will also be there, giving families with children the chance to pet and feed them. Visitors will also be able to try riding a Gorals horse and taste local specialties.

The programme will also include performances by traditional Gorals artists, bringing folklore, singing and dancing to the stage. Traditional culture will naturally blend with the contemporary music scene, so visitors can also look forward to exceptional concerts by well-known performers.

AN EXCEPTIONAL IMT SMILE CONCERT IN AN EXCEPTIONAL PLACE

It is not often that audiences have the chance to experience a concert by Slovakia’s most successful band, IMT Smile, at a festival outside their own tour. That is why the appearance of Ivan Tásler and his band in Bachledka is a unique opportunity for everyone who simply loves their songs. Beneath the Tatra peaks, visitors will hear beloved hits that have brought generations of fans together for years and always create an unforgettable experience. Combined with the unique setting of Bachledka, the IMT SMILE performance will be one of the highlights of the entire event, bringing moments full of joy, эмоtion and a wonderful summer atmosphere.

MIRO JAROŠ IS COMING TO BACHLEDKA

At an altitude of almost 1,200 metres above sea level, Bachledka will welcome popular children’s performers together with local theatre ensembles and children’s folklore groups. Miro Jaroš, RAMAGU Theatre and Fidlikanti Deťom will prepare a programme full of joy, music and unforgettable experiences for young visitors.

FRIDAY IN BACHLEDKA WITH ŠTEFAN ŠTEC: MUSIC, THEATRE AND A PROGRAMME FOR CHILDREN

Friday’s programme in Bachledka will bring a rich mix of music, entertainment and folklore for visitors of all ages. A pleasant atmosphere will be created by Lucia Haladejová and Ferko Jaroš with their musical performance, complemented by the popular RAMAGU Theatre and the cheerful Fidlikanti deťom programme, prepared especially for young audiences. The highlight of Friday’s programme will be the performance by Štefan Štec, who will bring the power of tradition, emotion and the unique energy of folklore in a modern interpretation to Bachledka.

From 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, the PANORAMA Restaurant will come alive with genuine Gorals entertainment accompanied by the Jendrichovskí Brothers. Visitors can look forward to a pleasant evening full of folk music, good mood and traditional Gorals atmosphere, perfect for relaxing, singing and enjoying time with family and friends.

SATURDAY IN BACHLEDKA WITH IMT SMILE AND KALI: BACHLEDKA WILL COMBINE FOLKLORE, A CHILDREN’S PROGRAMME AND BIG CONCERTS

Saturday’s programme in Bachledka will belong to big music stars, family entertainment and folklore. The day will begin with Lucia Haladejová and Ferko Jaroš, followed by the popular Miro Jaroš, who will delight especially young visitors with his cheerful and energetic performance. Traditional culture and the power of folklore will be brought to the stage by FS Zemplín, while the evening programme will culminate in concerts by Kali and the band IMT SMILE. Saturday in Bachledka will therefore offer a unique combination of tradition, modern music and an exceptional atmosphere beneath the Tatra peaks.

SUNDAY IN THE NAME OF THE VILLAGE OF ŽDIAR

The Sunday programme will belong to local artists and folklore groups. Traditionally, it will begin with Holy Mass and continue with a day full of Goral folklore, songs, dances and history.

CRAFTS, STRAW AND ART WORKSHOPS

This event will also include a woodcarving symposium – carvers will create wooden symbols of highland culture. New sculptures will be added to the 4-meter-tall straw “Goral” and “Goralka” from previous years.
