Cross-country skiing on the ridge of Spišská Magura
If you are a fan of cross-country skiing, try the panoramatic route along the ridge of Spišská Magura. Along its entire length you will have beautiful views of Belianske Tatras, in addition with sunny weather, it is truly a pleasure.
Cross-country trail begins at the top of Spišská Magura, from where, after exiting the cable car you will move towards Bachledka ski slope and immediately at its beginning, on the right side behind the photo spot, there you will see the cross-country trail entrance. The observation trail is 7km long (one way), 14 km (both ways) and leads towards Ždiar – Príslop. It ends in ski centre Strachan, where there is another entrance/exit of the trail. The track is always maintained by snow groomer after fresh snowfall. There is no ski tracks on it. It is suitable for classic and skating style of skiing.
