The Treetop Walk
The Treetop Walk
The Bachledka Treetop Walk is located on the ridge of the Spišská Magura, on the border of the Pieniny and Tatra National Parks. With a gentle ascent, it safely guides you from the ground up to a height of 24 metres, directly into the treetops. We will show you what makes the local nature unique. You will become part of forest life and discover many species of animals and plants that can be found only in a few places. The route, more than 1,234 metres long, leads you through a species-rich forest where various surprises and educational features await. You will be captivated by the breathtaking views of the Belianske Tatras, the Pieniny Mountains and the picturesque Zamagurie region from the panoramic platform of the 32-metre-high tower that marks the end of the Walk.
A trip to the treetops is great fun for children, teenagers and adults alike. The new gondola lift comfortably takes you to the Treetop Walk, making it a barrier-free attraction. If the Treetop Walk is physically demanding for you for health reasons, you can borrow a wheelchair free of charge at the entrance and enjoy the ride through the treetops. The Treetop Walk is open all year round. However, annual maintenance takes place in spring and autumn, so we recommend checking the opening hours in advance.
