Fierce Battles on Two Wheels. Bike Challenge Bachledka 2026 Tested the Strength of Competitors Across All Age Categories
A fantastic sporting atmosphere swept through the BACHLEDKA mountain resort on Saturday, July 11, 2026. The highly anticipated cycling challenge, Bike Challenge Bachledka, became part of the rich summer calendar of events. The race once again confirmed that cycling connects generations and delivered excellent performances on the track, which was lined with cheering fans.
A total of 125 determined competitors lined up at the start this year, measuring their strength in 36 competition categories. The event showed that this sport is truly for everyone. The youngest participant on the track was only two-year-old Timotej Tomaškovič (born in 2024), who tackled the course with immense determination. In contrast, the oldest rider of the event was 71-year-old Marek Luty (born in 1955) from Poland, whose performance inspired many younger cyclists.
The absolute highlights of the event were not only the sporting performances themselves but also the motivating rewards. The fastest participants took home truly valuable prizes. A generous prize pool totaling €1,000 was prepared for the absolute winners of the MTB categories. A special reward awaited the overall winner in the E-bike 43 km category. Thanks to a partnership with the RENAULT brand, the fastest rider on this track won an exclusive prize – a weekend rental of the innovative RENAULT 5 E-TECH vehicle.
