Training Centre

The year-round family mountain Resort BACHLEDKA offers top-class infrastructure for the development of youth and performance sport. The offer includes two dedicated training zones – National Training Centre for Pupils - Malá Franková and Otto and Vlado Krajňák Training Centre. These projects, implemented in cooperation with the Slovak Ski Association (ZSL), provide ski clubs with a safe, separate and professional environment for year-round training.

Overview of training centres and slopes

National Training Centre for Pupils – Malá Franková (Furmanec Slope): A modern centre built with state support, focused on nurturing young skiing talents. The slope is located on a north-eastern aspect at an altitude of over 900 m above sea level. It can be accessed directly from Malá Franková (car park), as well as from the upper station of Cable car Bachledka and the four-seater chairlift Jezersko.
Otto and Vlado Krajňák Training Slope: A route named after prominent Slovak skiing personalities (Olympian Vlado Krajňák and multiple Masters World Champion Otto Krajňák). The slope is more than 950 metres long and has an elevation gain of 212 metres. It can be accessed from the Majstrák slope in Jezersko.

Operating schedule and time blocks

The training centres operate daily and are strictly organised to ensure maximum capacity and safety:

Daily operation: From 9:00 to 15:30 (arrival for the first training session is at 8:45).
Time blocks: Training sessions take place in 6 reserved blocks: 9:00 – 11:00, 11:00 – 13:00 and 13:00 – 15:00 (or 3-hour slots including 120 minutes of piste reservation and 60 minutes for transfer and preparation).
Slope capacity: A maximum of 4 courses simultaneouslymay be set up on one slope, with two clubs able to train during one time block. The maximum recommended number of riders on one course is 40 people.
Changes and delays: A change to the training time is only possible by agreement with the operator. The club itself is responsible for any delay and for arriving later at the slope, so arrival sufficiently in advance is required. Training may be extended for a fee only if the following block is available.

Prices, reservations and ski passes

Ticket price: 12 € / 3 hours / person (discounted price for ZSL members).
Ski pass rules: The training ski pass is intended exclusively for the coach and training athletes. It is not valid for parents, doctors, drivers or team managers. One person (the coach) purchases the ski pass based on the list of names assigned to the online account using a special promo code.
Foreign clubs: Training centre services are also available to foreign clubs. The discounted price does not apply to these clubs.
Online reservations: The course must be reserved online at least 24 hours in advance. If you are interested in reserving the entire slope, telephone contact is required.

Safety and operating rules

Safety: The training slopes are separated from the commercial areas of the Resort. After completing the training session, the club is required to remove the training course (spread out the piled-up snow and minimise the formation of snow heaps).
Rules: All participants must follow the BACHLEDKA Resort’s White Code and the General Terms and Conditions (GTC). The Operator reserves the right to change the time or location of the training or cancel it for operational or safety reasons.
