How to get here
From Spišská Belá
Access to the year-round mountain family Resort BACHLEDKA is possible from the town of Spišská Belá via the reconstructed state road no. 66. Travelling to the Resort is now not only more comfortable but also faster. We believe that the new road will make visiting BACHLEDKA even more attractive and contribute to a pleasant experience from the very first kilometres of your journey.
From the Tatras
The main access to the BACHLEDKA Resort is from Bachledova dolina (Bachledova dolina 702, Ždiar). You can reach Bachledova dolina via a turn-off from state road no. 66 at the beginning of the village of Ždiar. The road is well signposted, so follow the information boards directing visitors. Bachledova dolina offers complete visitor facilities and the lower station of the Cable car Bachledka. The cable car ride from Bachledova dolina is fast and comfortable. The cable car takes you to the Treetop Walk in 7 minutes, in comfort and protected from the weather.
From Zamagurie and Pieniny
From Malá Franková (arriving from Červený Kláštor, Niedzica), where there is a car park directly below the slope, you can reach the Treetop Walk via a 1.4 km-long meadow road uphill with an elevation gain of 250 m. An asphalt road leading from the church in the centre of the village goes to the car park.
From Jezersko, where there is a car park directly below the slope and next to the SKI Jezersko Guesthouse, you can reach the Treetop Walk via a steep ascent along the slope or via an educational hiking trail around Lake Jezersko. We recommend the route around Lake Jezersko, which is less demanding and more attractive at the same time. The hiking trail around Lake Jezersko is approximately 4 km long. We do not recommend access from Jezersko for people who are not physically fit or for small children.
In winter, pack snow chains for your car as well, because you are heading into the mountains, where the access roads are somewhat steeper and, due to the proximity of national parks, can only be maintained by spreading gravel.
By public transport (Train and bus)
A comfortable and eco-friendly alternative is travelling by public transport. When travelling by train, we recommend choosing the hub Poprad-Tatry, which has excellent connections to express trains and international services. The train and bus stations in Poprad are located close to each other, making transfers easy and smooth.
Bus connections from Poprad

Pedestrian access to the Treetop Walk
In summer, we recommend using one of the several routes leading to the Treetop Walk from Bachledova dolina, Malá Franková and Jezersko.
As hiking trails are not maintained during winter and walking along the ski slope is not possible, we recommend travelling by cable car from Bachledova dolina or by six-seater chairlift with a bubble from Malá Franková. The cable car ride is safe, comfortable and fast. We can easily transport small children, dogs, seniors, prams and sledges too.
Transporting pedestrians from Jezersko is not possible due to the technical limitations of the chairlift.
Useful tips
- The earlier you set off, the closer you will be able to park. Car parks P1, P2 and P3 are located directly in Bachledova dolina, with a capacity of more than 1,000 parking spaces.
