Behaj Lesmi in Bachledka will bring a day full of movement, nature and powerful experiences
In 2026, Bachledka will once again become the venue of the popular trail running event Behaj Lesmi Bachledova dolina, which will take place on 27 June 2026 at the family mountain resort Bachledka in the Prešov Region. As part of the Behaj Lesmi series, this event is set in an attractive mountain environment where athletic performance is combined with time spent in nature and the unique atmosphere of the forest.
Behaj Lesmi is a trail running series that attracts participants with routes leading mainly over soft terrain and through natural surroundings. Bachledka is one of the stops where both experienced runners and those who simply want to enjoy an active day in the fresh air will find something for themselves. The event in Bachledova dolina will offer several races based on fitness level and preferred route length, making it accessible to a wide range of participants.
Three main routes have been prepared for runners. The longest route is 20 kilometres long with an elevation gain of 556 metres, the medium Lesnícka 10 km route offers an elevation gain of 313 metres, and the shorter 5-kilometre route has 190 metres of elevation gain. All routes lead along forest roads, which highlights the natural character of the entire event and makes it an experience that is not only sporting, but also visually impressive and full of atmosphere.
Children’s races and a family programme
Families with children will also find plenty to enjoy, as the event includes the Dr. Max children’s races. This means that Behaj Lesmi in Bachledka is not only a race for performance-oriented athletes, but also an event that creates space for shared experiences, healthy movement and a community atmosphere across generations. Online registration for the race in Bachledka is open until 24 June 2026. Race bib collection and new registrations will take place at the lower cable car station in Bachledova dolina, while the main race facilities will be located at the top, near the cable car exit. Registered runners can use the cable car free of charge, while accompanying persons must pay separately.

The Behaj Lesmi running series connects movement in nature with direct support for families from the regions where the races take place. In each of the seven locations, it supports one powerful human story and allows runners to turn their sporting performance into real solidarity.
In Bachledova dolina, support is aimed at three-year-old Karolínka, who has been battling three serious diagnoses since birth – childhood autism, epilepsy, and a congenital foot deformity known as pes equinovarus. In the very first days of her life, she underwent leg casting, followed later by several surgeries and long periods of intensive rehabilitation. Her condition requires constant specialist care and supervision.
Behaj Lesmi helps in a simple and transparent way. For every registered participant in the race in Bachledova dolina, the organisers will automatically donate €1 to support Karolínka. During registration, runners can also add a voluntary financial contribution in any amount. No matter which route they choose – every step helps.
