Do I have to pay separately for the gondola if I already have a ski pass?

• For skiers, cable cars are usually included in the ski ticket/ski pass. Pedestrian visitors buy tickets according to the price list.
• For combined products, for example Treetop Walk + cable car or sledding + cable car, we recommend checking the specific service price list.

Is the resort accessible for visitors with reduced mobility?

• The whole resort is barrier-free: from the gondola boarding point, through the Treetop Walk, the PANORAMA restaurant and back by cable car.
• It is also convenient for families with strollers and for wheelchair users.

Bachledka gondola: how long is the ride and where does it take us?

Cable car

• The cable car goes from Bachledova Valley to the ridge of Spišská Magura and takes you to the Treetop Walk and the PANORAMA restaurant in less than 7 minutes.

Walking up from Bachledova Valley: can we also go on foot?

• Yes, via the forest hiking trail – at your own responsibility.

How do I get to the Treetop Walk from Malá Franková?

• From Malá Franková, you can reach the Treetop Walk only on foot – it is a moderately demanding uphill route across a meadow (1.1 km).

How do I get to the Treetop Walk from Jezersko?

• There is an educational hiking trail from Jezersko around Jezerské Lake up to the ridge, the PANORAMA restaurant and the Treetop Walk.

Rental: can we rent a stroller or a child carrier?

• We can lend you a stroller at the entrance to the Treetop Walk for a refundable deposit.
• A child hiking carrier can be rented in the sports shop at the cable car base station, directly opposite the ticket offices.

Is the hiking trail suitable for a stroller or wheelchair?

• The terrain of the hiking trail is not suitable for strollers or wheelchairs.
• Walking up can be demanding for small children and seniors – please consider fitness level; we recommend using the cable car.

Do I need to reserve tickets in advance?

• We do not offer ticket reservations.
• Tickets can be bought at the ticket offices in Bachledova Valley or at the entrance to the Treetop Walk. Payment is possible in cash (€) or by card. Groups are handled with priority at ticket office no. 3.
• Tickets can also be purchased online.

How long does the trip take (walking vs. cable car)?

Planning

• A walking trip to the ridge combined with a visit to the Treetop Walk takes about 3 to 4 hours. If you use the cable car, the whole trip can be done in 1.5 to 2 hours.

Last ticket sale and last entry to the Treetop Walk?

• The last ticket sale for the cable car and the Treetop Walk is always 75 minutes before the end of opening hours.
• The last entry to the Treetop Walk is always 60 minutes before the end of opening hours.
• If you walk up, please allow enough time (parking + about 1 hour uphill + ticket purchase) – it is better to arrive earlier.

Can I go on the Treetop Walk with my dog?

Animals

• Dogs and other animals are not allowed on the Treetop Walk, including small dogs, cats, ferrets and others.
• There are aviaries available before the entrance.

Toboggan from the tower: when is it open and how much does it cost?

Attractions

• The toboggan operates depending on weather conditions, including in winter.
• For adults and children from 120 cm. Tickets are sold directly at the toboggan.
• Price: 3 €.

Electric car: free parking

• If you use the charging station for electric vehicles, parking is free.
• You just need to show proof and reset your parking ticket at ticket office no. 3.

• At the ticket offices, in the ticket machines near the cable car base station, or at the entrance to the Treetop Walk.

What payment methods do you accept? (invoice)

• We accept cash (€) and card payments.
• If you need an invoice, it must be requested in advance by email at info@bachledka.sk. You will then receive a proforma invoice that must be paid before the visit.
• For foreign invoices, please inform us at least 7–10 days before your visit.

Can I buy tickets online?

• Yes, at a discounted price, including the return cable car ride.
• They can also be purchased at the ticket offices, in the machine in the pedestrian zone, or at the entrance to the Treetop Walk.

We are a group – do we have to stand in line for tickets?

• No – groups are handled with priority at ticket office no. 3.
• If you go to the attraction on foot, you can buy tickets at the entrance to the Treetop Walk.

Can group tickets be purchased online?

• Yes – for adults (15–64 years). The minimum number for a group discount is 15 people.

Can a disabled visitor ticket with companion be bought online?

• No – it must be purchased at the ticket office after presenting the relevant disability card with companion entitlement.

Can tickets be reserved for a specific date and time?

• No – reservations are not possible.
• Tickets do not sell out; they are sold continuously according to opening hours and operating rules.
• If you walk up, please allow enough time for the hike + parking + ticket purchase – it is better to arrive earlier.

Do you offer discounts (ISIC/ITIC, Gopass, disabled visitors, etc.)?

Discounts

• The price list includes age-based fares and discounts for children, seniors and families. We only accept disability cards with companion entitlement – the disabled visitor receives a discount and the accompanying person gets a free ticket after presenting the card. Discounts cannot be combined. Gopass, ISIC and ITIC are not accepted.

Is there an ATM at the resort?

• The ATM is located in Bachledova Valley near the lower station of the Bachledka gondola, before the parking barriers.

Is it possible to visit the Treetop Walk with a stroller?

With children

• Yes – the cable car from Bachledova Valley also transports strollers. Walking up with a stroller is not suitable (2.6 km forest path). We also provide stroller rental at the entrance to the Treetop Walk for a deposit.

Is the Treetop Walk a good destination for a school trip?

• Yes – it is suitable for schools with children of different ages.
• There are educational stops and games along the route, and there are playgrounds and attractions nearby.

Can children manage the walk up to the Treetop Walk?

• The route from Bachledova Valley is 2.6 km, elevation gain 300 m, about 45 minutes to 1 hour.
• Children from around 4 years old can usually manage it with breaks. Please keep in mind the weather can change quickly.

Is the Treetop Walk safe for children?

• Yes – all parts of the Treetop Walk are secured. Railings, obstacles and other elements are protected with metal mesh.

Is the Treetop Walk and access to it barrier-free?

• Yes – from the cable car, through the Treetop Walk, PANORAMA and back down by cable car.
• Winter: the cable car from Jezersko is for skiers and snowboarders only – pedestrian access is strictly forbidden.

Do I get a discount as a senior or disabled visitor?

• There is a discount for seniors and for disabled visitors with companion entitlement.
• Standard disability cards without companion entitlement are not eligible for a discount.

We are a group of seniors – what discount do we get?

• As a group of more than 15 people buying the same type of ticket, you are also entitled to a group discount.

Do we need to report a group in advance?

• No. Groups are handled with priority at ticket office no. 3.
• Each person has their own ticket and passes through the turnstile at the cable car and at the Treetop Walk individually.
• In winter, there is an extra deposit of 2 € for a chip card.

• When purchasing more than 15 tickets of the same type (Cable car / Treetop Walk), you are entitled to a discount according to the price list.

• The group discount applies when buying 15 tickets of the same type (Cable car / Treetop Walk).
• Sometimes it is worth comparing whether the group discount is better than the child/family fare.
• Winter (skiers): when purchasing more than 20 identical tickets – 10% discount + every 21st person gets a ticket for 2 €.

• No. You can enjoy the Treetop Walk on your own; information is provided on educational boards along the route.

We are an agency – do we always have to pay for entry?

• Agency guides can get free-entry passes issued at ticket office no. 3.
• To issue the pass, a photo and company details are required. The condition is visiting with a large group at least 10 times during the season.

Can I go to the Treetop Walk with a dog?

• Dogs and other animals are not allowed on the Treetop Walk, including small dogs, cats, ferrets and similar pets. Animals cannot be carried in a bag or in your arms either.
• There are aviaries available before the entrance where you can leave them temporarily. A lock can be borrowed at the ticket office for a refundable deposit of 5 €, payable in cash.

• If the parking areas in the valley are full, cars are redirected to overflow parking areas.

• There is the PANORAMA restaurant on the ridge with large capacity and family-friendly facilities.
• The building also includes a café/bar, toilets, souvenirs, family facilities, a children’s corner and an educational room.

How many people are in the resort – can we still get to the Treetop Walk?

• The capacity of the Treetop Walk itself is not limited – the key factor is usually parking and whether you can still make the last ticket sale or last entry time.

How long is the wait to buy tickets?

• It depends on the day, time and weather. The busiest period is usually 10:00–14:00, especially during holidays, weekends and public holidays.
• You can avoid waiting by buying online in the e-shop.
