Bachledka gondola: how long is the ride and where does it take us?

  • The cable car goes from Bachledova Valley to the ridge of Spišská Magura and takes you to the Treetop Walk and the PANORAMA restaurant in less than 7 minutes.
Walking up from Bachledova Valley: can we also go on foot?

  • Walking up can be demanding for small children and seniors – please consider fitness level; we recommend using the cable car.

  • Tickets can be bought at the ticket offices in Bachledova Valley or at the entrance to the Treetop Walk. Payment is possible in cash (€) or by card. Groups are handled with priority at ticket office no. 3.

How long does the trip take (walking vs. cable car)?

  • A walking trip to the ridge combined with a visit to the Treetop Walk takes about 3 to 4 hours. If you use the cable car, the whole trip can be done in 1.5 to 2 hours.

Can I go on the Treetop Walk with my dog?

Toboggan from the tower: when is it open and how much does it cost?

What payment methods do you accept? (invoice)

  • We accept cash (€) and card payments.
  • If you need an invoice, it must be requested in advance by email at info@bachledka.sk. You will then receive a proforma invoice that must be paid before the visit.
  • For foreign invoices, please inform us at least 7–10 days before your visit.
Can I buy tickets online?

  • Yes, at a discounted price, including the return cable car ride.
  • They can also be purchased at the ticket offices, in the machine in the pedestrian zone, or at the entrance to the Treetop Walk.
We are a group – do we have to stand in line for tickets?

  • If you go to the attraction on foot, you can buy tickets at the entrance to the Treetop Walk.
Can group tickets be purchased online?

  • Yes – for adults (15–64 years). The minimum number for a group discount is 15 people.
Can a disabled visitor ticket with companion be bought online?

  • No – it must be purchased at the ticket office after presenting the relevant disability card with companion entitlement.
Can tickets be reserved for a specific date and time?

  • No – reservations are not possible.
  • Tickets do not sell out; they are sold continuously according to opening hours and operating rules.
  • If you walk up, please allow enough time for the hike + parking + ticket purchase – it is better to arrive earlier.
Do you offer discounts (ISIC/ITIC, Gopass, disabled visitors, etc.)?

  • The price list includes age-based fares and discounts for children, seniors and families. We only accept disability cards with companion entitlement – the disabled visitor receives a discount and the accompanying person gets a free ticket after presenting the card. Discounts cannot be combined. Gopass, ISIC and ITIC are not accepted.
Is there an ATM at the resort?

  • The ATM is located in Bachledova Valley near the lower station of the Bachledka gondola, before the parking barriers.
Is it possible to visit the Treetop Walk with a stroller?

  • Yes – the cable car from Bachledova Valley also transports strollers. Walking up with a stroller is not suitable (2.6 km forest path). We also provide stroller rental at the entrance to the Treetop Walk for a deposit.

Is the Treetop Walk and access to it barrier-free?

  • To issue the pass, a photo and company details are required. The condition is visiting with a large group at least 10 times during the season.
Can I go to the Treetop Walk with a dog?

  • There are aviaries available before the entrance where you can leave them temporarily. A lock can be borrowed at the ticket office for a refundable deposit of 5 €, payable in cash.
