Cookie Usage Rules

BACHLEDKA SKI & SUN s.r.o. is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Notice describes how BACHLEDKA SKI & SUN s.r.o. processes and uses the personal data we receive from you in connection with this website and how you can contact us if you have any additional questions regarding our processing of your personal data.

We may update this statement from time to time without notice. We therefore recommend that you regularly review its wording.

This version of the statement was issued on 25 May 2018 for the website www.bachledka.sk.

1. What are Cookies?

If you visit a website that stores cookies, a small text cookie file is created on your computer. A cookie is a short text file that a website stores on your computer or mobile device (including a tablet) while you browse it. If you visit the same website again, it allows you to connect more quickly. In addition, the website will “recognise” you and offer you the information you prefer, ensure that an advertisement already displayed is not shown repeatedly, offer to complete identification details already entered during previous visits to the web environment and, based on this information, display relevant content and offers for activities and services that we assume you might use. Cookies do not usually enable us to identify you precisely.

We use cookies to analyse website traffic through various analytics services and their providers, such as Google, Hotjar and similar services. These are analytics tools that help website and application owners understand how their visitors use these resources. Cookies may be used to collect statistical data about website usage without personally identifying individual visitors.

2. Legal Basis for Processing

If we are able to identify a visitor when recording data in the web environment, this will constitute the processing of personal data. For such processing, we must have a legal basis. One possible legal basis is Your consent (within the meaning of the rights of the data subject), as the data subject, while the other, particularly when monitoring and evaluating activities, is the legitimate interest of the operator, i.e. us, in offering you the best possible configuration of services or support in connection with your activities, in sales processes and activities within a contractual relationship with our company. We will use the data obtained to improve existing services and develop additional ones for the high comfort of you, our customers.

3. What cookies do we evaluate?

Session cookies – are temporary cookies stored on your computer, laptop or mobile device until you leave the website (websites), at which point they are deleted. Such cookies help the website (websites) remember information as you move from page to page, so you do not need to enter the information again or repeatedly fill it in.

Persistent cookies – remain stored on your computer, laptop or mobile device even when you leave the website (websites); such cookies help the website (websites) remember you when you return as a visitor, while not identifying you as an individual.

We use the following types of cookies on our websites:

  • (a) Essential cookies: They are necessary for the operation of our websites and may be used to authenticate users, prevent fraud and unauthorised access to user accounts for our online services, or provide various functionalities.
  • (b) Analytics cookies: We use them to recognise visitors to our websites, determine their numbers and identify how visitors use our websites and which sections they visit. They enable us to improve our websites and your impressions and experiences of them.
  • (c) Functional / operational cookies: We use them to recognise you when you return to our websites. They enable us to personalise the content displayed by our websites and remember your preferences (e.g. selected language, etc.).
  • (d) Advertising cookies: We use these cookies to record your visits to our websites, other websites and the links you have clicked. We use the information obtained in this way to tailor our websites to your interests. We may also share this information with third parties, e.g. social network operators.

In addition to our own cookies, we may also use third-party cookies that we need and use mainly to collect statistics about the use of our websites, obtain marketing-relevant information, make content from other websites available (e.g. videos from YouTube) and make our marketing activities more effective (tracking cookies, optimisation cookies and partner cookies). Third-party cookies are created and subsequently used by service providers such as Google, Facebook and others. The rules governing the use of these cookies can be found on the following pages:

We may also use so-called tracking pixels (or web beacons). These are small images placed on a website that are not cookies, but can be used to obtain certain information from your device. We generally use them to test our websites, determine where a visitor is located on the website, whether they have opened a message sent to them, and as a supplement to information from cookies when displaying advertising and content.

Data from “cookies” may also be used to display short notifications with the latest news and information from our websites directly in your internet browser. We will ask for your permission to display these notifications separately in a separate window. Through this service, we do not collect data that could be used to identify you. This service is provided, for example, by OneSignal, Inc., and its privacy policy can be found here.

5. Automated decision-making and Profiling
