Ball Track
• The newest addition at the year-round mountain family resort BACHLEDKA, guaranteed to delight families with children, is the wooden Marble Run. This playful, interactive attraction, with a total length of up to 100 metres, is located right on the ridge of Spišská Magura. It is strategically placed on the route between the popular Treetop Walk and the Forest Kingdom children's playground, turning an ordinary walk around the resort into a little adventure.
How Does It Work and What Awaits the Children?
The concept behind the attraction is very simple, yet incredibly engaging for children. Access to the wooden run itself is free (open to everyone).
- Wooden marble for €2: To get the fun started, simply buy an original wooden marble from the nearby souvenir shops or from a special vending machine. Please note that the machine only accepts coins.
- A path full of obstacles: Children then release the marble into the run and watch, delighted, as it travels through various obstacles, drops, bends and surprising mechanical features.
- A lovely keepsake: Once the game is over, children take the marble home with them – a charming, tangible souvenir of their trip to BACHLEDKA.
Combining Movement and Playful Learning
The Marble Run is not just an ordinary toy, but a clever concept that enriches a family outing:
- Fun education: While playing in nature, children discreetly discover basic physical phenomena and see gravity, motion and simple mechanics at work in practice.
- Movement and healthy competition: Chasing after the marble and following its path encourages children towards natural movement in the fresh mountain air and healthy competitiveness.
