First Winter Ride BACHLEDKA: Ski season starts in style on December 13, 2025
Due to unfavourable conditions, the first timed training runs on the slope of the National Youth Training Centre – Malá Franková are cancelled and the Radio VLNA Oldies Party will be postponed to another date. We will inform you about the opening of the ski slopes via our social media channels and our website. On Saturday, December 13, 2025, a DJ will be entertaining you by the PANORAMA Restaurant and in the evening, at 3:30 PM, we will light up the Winter Wonderland BACHLEDKA for you.
Ždiar (Bachledka), December 13, 2025 – Bachledka will kick off the 2025/2026 ski season with the First Winter Ride BACHLEDKA. event. Visitors can look forward to a sports-packed day with the first measured training sessions on the slope of the National Training Centre for Pupils – Malá Franková for all pupils and juniors, evening lighting of the Winter Wonderland BACHLEDKA on the Treetop Walk, as well as an energetic Oldies Party of Radio Vlna with DJ Peter Hurajt on the slope. Rasťo Orth will be hosting the party.

A programme that combines sport, fun and family fun
• Opening of the winter season – the first official ski turns, groomed slopes and winter atmosphere on the ridge of Spišská Magura.
• The first measured training – sports rides on the trails of the National Youth Training Centre – Malá Franková for pupils and junior categories. Emphasis on fair conditions, safety and motivation of young talents.
• Lighting of the Winter Wonderland BACHLEDKA – an evening moment when the iconic Treetop Walk transforms into a winter fairy tale with views of the Belianske Tatras.
• Radio Vlna’s Oldies Party on the slope – BACHLEDKA will get you dancing with hits of the past decades. An ideal day out for friends and family. DJ Peter Hurajt and moderator Rasťo Orth.
• Afterparty at the PANORAMA Restaurant – after the evaluation of the timed training runs, we’ll round off the whole day on the slope with an afterparty with a DJ.
Novelties of the 2025/2026 winter season in Bachledka
• New Bachledka Freeride slope – with this new slope added, the resort now offers 13.4 km of slopes, of which 9.9 km are naturally snow-covered and groomed. More kilometres, more possibilities, more skiing fun.
• Stronger and more modern snowmaking – up to 100 % technological enhancement and 113 snow guns for stable snow safety and better surface quality throughout the ski season.
• Reconstructed Bistros Furmanec and Jezersko – more comfortable facilities, faster service and a renewed offer of food and drinks directly by the slopes.
• Ski passes on your mobile phone with the key2ski app – ski with just your mobile, without having to pick up a physical ski pass. Faster slope entry = more time to ride.
