Our planet also has its important day. Earth Day will be commemorated in Bachledka on 28 April 2025 in cooperation with Pieniny National Park. This is a follow-up to the Earth Day 2025 global call with the motto “Our power, our planet”.
The Bachledka Mountain Family Resort is one of the pioneers of the “green” approach among Slovak resorts. Sustainability and respect for nature are a long-term priority for us, embodied in our motto “Development with respect for nature”. During Earth Day, we will take this vision further – also thanks to the children from the surrounding schools who will take part in an educational programme led by PIENAP experts. Together we will take part in planting trees or cleaning up the nature around the resort and Spišská Magura.
Earth Day in Bachledka is not only about celebrating our blue planet, but mainly about education, practical help to the environment and promoting ecological thinking among the younger generation. Our goal is to create a space where people come together for a common cause – the protection of nature, building a relationship with it and inspiring experiences that will contribute to a healthier ecosystem in the Pieniny and Tatra Mountains.
The expert part of the programme will be covered by the staff of Pieniny National Park. They will introduce the children to how the forest is created, how to take care of nature, explain the importance of marked hiking trails and talk about bird monitoring and the relationship between man and nature.
