The treetop walk

Bachledka Treetop walk is situated in the heart of majestic forests of the Pieniny National Park. We will show you the unique nature of the Belianske Tatras. We will explore local forests together. You will be immersed in the forest and get to know and learn about many animals and plants that can be found only in a few places of the world.

On more than 600 metre long route you will go through the forest with various animal and plant species, find many surprises and learn some lessons. The view from 32 metre high observation tower is magnificent and you will have the majestic trees some of which are even older than you within arm’s reach.

If you prefer self-study you will find a large number of information boards along the trail for you to study. These information boards are located at the three stops in the horizontal part of the trail.

There is a brisk building activity associated with the construction of new cable lift and infrastructure in Bachledka resort currently. The new 10-seat cabin lift will transport to treetops this year in winter season. The date will be announced in due time. We apologize for restrictions during construction works. You can reach the Treetop walk with 45 min walk from parking place in Bachledova dolina or Mala Frankova. The way to the Treetop is 2,6 km long with elevation of  300 m. Due to construction work it is not possible for wheelchairs to reach the treetop walk. The terrain is not suitable for prams, we recommend a baby carrier which can be rented from our gift shop. The Treetop walk is  open daily from 9am to 5pm. with last entry at 4pm. Visitors are advised to arrive well ahead of the time as they need some time to reach the treetop walk.
