Code of Ethics and Sustainable Development

 

IMMOBAU s.r.o. and its employees follow the code of ethics that defines the company’s values and the rules of conduct within the company as well as in interaction with external partners and customers. This document is considered to be crucial and binding for all. The main principles for decision-making of employees at all levels are respect for corporate values, Slovakia’s laws, fair approach, morality, ethics, respect, efficiency and nature protection.

 

 

 

  • we comply with all laws and regulations of the Slovak Republic;
  • we are a professional and competent partner for colleagues, customers and business partners;
  • we respect our colleagues, external partners, customers and their work – we respect and look for ways to improve our cooperation;
  • we reject any form of corruption and crime. The quality of our products, the competence of our employees and the direction of our company are the only reasons for making business relationships;
  • we condemn all forms of discrimination and violence, we treat all people in the same way, without distinction of skin color, nationality, religion, health, religion or sexual orientation;
  • we protect our environment and strive to act in such a way that we keep our environment in a good shape for the next generation as well. We preserve the cultural heritage and honor the traditions;
  • we support the health, safety, family and balanced working lives of our employee;
  • we strive to create a nice place for relaxation and recreation where people will feel good and enjoy their life thanks to the high level of services provided;

We are determined to act honestly towards our employees, business partners and the environment. We also expect the same from all stakeholders.

We act in compliance with the laws and regulations of the Slovak Republic.

We feel responsible for the impact of our activities on the environment. We therefore always try to act in such a way and choose such methods that have the least impact on nature and the environment. At the same time, we want to carry out activities to improve the state of the environment and share this knowledge with others.

We support the preservation of the cultural, historical and natural heritage of our region, and the related education.

We bear in mind sustainable development in our everyday decisions. We act in such a way that we do not harm our environment and keep it in the same or better condition for future generations. We are pursuing long-term goals and think about their sustainability and the impact of our activities on the surrounding environment.

We actively observe and promote human rights, in particular the right to life, health, dignity, fair treatment, adequate living standards, equality, education, information, freedom of expression, leisure time, rest and family.

 

 

Every employee has the right to information about the company’s results. For this purpose, the company informs employees about the economic results, planned investments and other plans on a half-yearly basis.

Every idea to improve the business, its processes, or the efficiency of resource management is welcomed. The best ideas are put into practice, then they are evaluated and rewarded on a yearly basis.

Our goal is to create a pleasant and inspirational work environment, good working conditions and a friendly team. The priority is to ensure the health of workers at work and to take measures to prevent accidents at work. Creating an unpleasant work atmosphere and bullying rk is considered unacceptable.

As a company, we support the development of employees‘ qualification. To this end, a staff development plan has been developed and i tis going to be evaluated on a half-yearly basis. We would like our employees to deepen their skills and knowledge. To this end, employees are provided with different types of training (attendance is mandatory).

We respect our colleagues, customers and business partners. We treat them professionally, friendly and with respect. We do not tolerate aggressive behavior, insults, physical violence, discrimination and bullying.

We protect the company’s assets, we treat the provided working tools with care. We handle our assets and financial resources efficiently and avoid wasting. We take care of their protection and maintenance.

The overall look and cleanliness of the company’s premises and its surroundings are important factors in the satisfaction of our customers. That’s why we keep these premises clean, make the area more environmentally friendly and take care of the cleanliness.

As a company, we do not support public representation of political opinions, ideological and religious matters at the workplace as we are impartial in such matters. At the same time, we do not support financially, or otherwise, political parties, religious and other ideological groups.

 

 

We declare that the employee selection process, promotions or salary reassessment are only made on the basis of the work results, ethics, motivation and compliance with this Code. We reject individual preference based on personal relationships and other criteria that are unrelated to the work performance and abilities of employees.

Any form of discrimination or sexual harassment, whether covert or overt, is considered unacceptable.

We condemn financial, tangible and intangible enrichment, either in the form of gifts, rewards, bonuses, bribes and the like. If any form of enrichment is found in case of any employee, legal steps will be taken. At the same time, we condemn such enrichment also in cases of our partners, as we want to cooperate only with those who find the quality of our products, services and the competence of our employees to be worthy.

Fraud and counterfeiting are considered unacceptable. Uncovering a fraud will result in a loss of confidence that may lead to termination of cooperation.

 

 

Employees working in the procurement of goods or services commit to the impartial selection of suppliers based on the most advantageous conditions, the best quality of the goods and the most advantageous price. Any attempt to influence the responsible employee must be strongly rejected.

 

 

We value our work, raise the value of the company and create a good image for the company. All employees are obliged to act in such a way as to advocate the company’s reputation and image.

The company does not prohibit employees from taking on other jobs or make investments, but they must not affect their work performance and have a competitive nature. If an employee wants to be sure that his/ her activity is not in breach of this regulation, he shall ask the HR manager.

 

 

Efficiency is a key factor to our company’s success. We pay attention to the effective use of working time, resources, assets, investments and finances.

We do our work as good as we can. In order to assess our efforts, the company carries out a feedback survey once a year. Participation in the survey is mandatory and its results are part of the employee’s performance assessment. The survey results and suggestions for improvement are presented to employees once a year following the presentation of the economic results.

 

 

We strictly prohibit the and consumption of alcohol and other narcotics during working hours as well as being under their influence during working hours. For this purpose, we perform regular testing of employees in which they are required to participate. Only social events with clients and partners are an exception, but the appointed employee must act in such a way that his / her behavior does not spoil the good image of the company.

Smoking is only permitted in reserved places. Smoking in the workplace, in the presence of customers and other non-smokers, is considered unacceptable. The smoking breaks beyond the scheduled breaks are not counted towards the working time of employees.

We make sure that our image and communication remain professional and friendly. Our appearance, hygiene and vocabulary must reflect that. When employees are assigned work clothes, they shall wear them for the entire duration of their working hours and care for their cleanliness. In the event that work clothes were not assigned to employees, they must choose the clothing that is appropriate in view of their job position and place of work so as not to offend anyone.

Use of a company’s property for private purposes is only permitted if it is provided in an employment contract or an internal regulation. Otherwise it is prohibited.

 

 

All employees are required to keep confidential about the amount of salary and rewards, internal information, planned investments, and company events. Only designed employees can provide information to external partners and customers and only in accordance with pre-agreed rules approved by the management.

 

 

The company commits itself to introduce measures to prevent personal data from being leaked. Employees who work with personal data are required to act in such a way that information is not leaked, especially employees working with the personal data of other employees, partners, and customers.
